The Jazz Brunch at the Grémio literário invites you to discover one of the most unknown places of Lisbon, a centenary private club that is an oasis of peace and tranquility in the heart of Chiado.
Come and enjoy a delicious brunch with the company of live jazz, while overlooking the river and a lovely secret garden.
Located in the heart of Chiado, the Grémio Literário club was founded in 1846 by great personalities from the cultural, social and political scene of the time, such as Alexandre Herculano, Almeida Garrett, Fontes Pereira de Melo and the Duke of Loulé.The club occupies the palace of the Viscount of Loures, immortalized by Eça de Queirós in the novel “Os Maias”, and offers a uniquely preserved environment, which brings us to one of the richest periods of Portuguese culture.
